Two facts about me: I don’t know anything about golf or dads.
So, the fact that I ended up editing a Father’s Day commercial about golf, the number-one-ranked-golfer, and his precocious 3 year-old-son Dash is really curious.
This commercial is even more curious because we originally only had 3 iphone videos, ripped from Ellie Day’s twitter account, to work with.
And finally, it’s curious because people really, really like it.
The New York Times wrote about it. Jason Day cried when he first watched it.
It’s the first work you see on 22squared‘s website.
The response has been so cool and unexpected. I’m proud of my creative team — we made something out of basically nothing, and people felt real feelings when they watched it — and I’m proud that I made this video come together.
